The Pittsylvania County Landfill

The Pittsylvania County Landfill is the central cog of Pittsylvania County’s solid waste operation.

Located at 382 Rainbow Road in Dry Fork, all of the household waste generated in the largest county in Virginia winds up at the landfill. XX employees run the landfill –  sorting, dumping, and compacting trash between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. every weekday. 

You can bring these items to the landfill for disposal:

  • Furniture
  • Metals
  • Construction Debris
  • Hazardous Waste
